Pendant 20 ans, j’ai filmé et photographié ma fille Marjorie. Voyant trop bien, je ne voyais pas. Quand elle est tombée malade, je ne voyais pas non plus. Je ne voyais pas que plutôt que la leucémie, c’étaient les autres qui la mettaient en danger.

For 20 years, I watched my daughter Marjorie with my camera. Seeing too well, I could not see. When she fell ill, I could not see either. I did not see than rather thant leukemia, it was the others who put her in danger.

Per vent’anni ho osservato mia figlia Marjorie attraverso la mia macchina da presa. Vedendo troppo bene, non riuscivo a vedere. Quando si è ammalata, non sono riuscito a vedere nemmeno allora. Non ho visto che, più che la leucemia, erano gli altri a metterla in pericolo.
